Pet Workspace Privacy Policy

Pet Workspace is a customizable dog-care scheduling app. We use account and business data only to provide, secure, synchronize, support, and improve the app. We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-app tracking.

Data the app handles

Account information includes your name, email address, a generated account identifier, secure password hash, sessions, and recovery records. Business content may include client and pet names, contact details, addresses, booking and payment-status notes, care instructions, messages, and photos you choose to add.

How data is used

Data is used for authentication, password recovery, cloud synchronization, backups, booking workflows, reminders, calendar exports, support, fraud prevention, and service reliability. Calendar events and notification reminders are created on your device only after you request them.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the web application, database, and private media storage. The configured transactional-email provider delivers verification and recovery messages. Apple processes App Store purchases and provides verified subscription status; Pet Workspace does not receive your full payment-card number.

Retention and deletion

Account and cloud content are retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete the account and its cloud data from More → Account & Cloud Sync → Delete account. Deleting a Pet Workspace account does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions are managed through Apple. Operational records may be retained when legally required or necessary to prevent abuse.

Export and portability

You can create a complete JSON backup from More → Data Safety → One-tap backup or, on iPhone and iPad, Native tools → Save backup to Files. The export includes clients, pets, bookings, visit types, checklists, business records, reference screenshots, and embedded pet photos. If a synchronized photo cannot be included, the export stops rather than presenting a partial backup as complete. Files you save are under your control and are not sent back to Pet Workspace.

Security

Passwords are salted and stretched before storage. Sessions use Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite cookies. Verification and recovery links are single-use and expire. No system can guarantee absolute security, so keep exported backups and your device protected.

Children

Pet Workspace is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
